Flow With Stories provides tailored workshops in schools and families with children aged between 4 - 11 years old to help them improve their literacy skills, confidence and well-being. The workshops have also been designed to help children explore emotions and resilience through stories and folk tales from around the world.
In a nutshell FLOW WITH STORIES stands for:
F Finding out
Hi, I’m Marina. I have been working in early years education for 15 years. I am passionate about children’s wellbeing and for them to have the right skills for the best start in life. When I’m not teaching, I spend my time with my three children aged 4, 8 and 9, having fun and making memories.
Hi, I'm Jackie. I have enjoyed working with children for 30 years in Early Years and Primary schools as a Nursery Nurse and School Teacher. I'm a mum of two great boys aged 21 and 11. I dream to be HAPPY EVERYDAY doing the things I love such as singing, dancing, creating, reading and telling stories. My dream is for everyone to be HAPPY EVERYDAY too.
With over 30 years teaching experience between us, we have combined our passions for stories, creative arts, drama and mindfulness to give children, including those with special educational needs (SEN), opportunities to get into the FLOW by doing the following:
🌈 Engaging in meaningful, fun and enriching life learning experiences with their peers.
🌈 Learning new coping strategies to raise their self-esteem and self-confidence.
🌈 Thinking critically about their hopes and dreams and create goals for their future.
🌈 Discovering and unlocking their creative genius within them.
🌈 Exploring the world around them and their relationships with others.
🌈 Recreating stories in their own way.
Our workshops will help children to make meaningful connections, fall in love with books and stories and equip them with new life skills, helping them to cultivate positive attitudes and look towards a better brighter future for themselves in school, at home and the world around them.
